Using only his muscle strength, Erden Eruç
succeeded in the circumnavigation alone after 5
years and 11 days. He is the first and only person
in history to have achieved this with his own power.
He holds the fastest “muscular circumnavigation
record” and is the first person to row three separate
oceans. He broke the Guinness World Record for the
longest lone rower spent at sea with 312 days on
his boat in the Pacific Ocean. The longest distance
travelled on the Atlantic Ocean without stopping
with muscle power belongs to Eruç. As of the end
of 2016, he is the most experienced ocean rower
