Our first aid book for simple injuries, which is the first of the
“AKUT Taught This to Me” AR+ story series, prepared for AKUT
Search and Rescue Association, has been prepared to teach children
the importance of first aid and to inform them about first aid response.
In addition, this book offers children the opportunity to learn while
using technology, in today’s world where the use of technology is
increasing. The augmented reality application integrated into the book
provides three-dimensional access to the pictures on each page of the
book. With the animations on the pages, first aid response for children
is shown in a practical way. Thus, it is both to read a story book to
children and to learn first aid response for simple injuries in a fun way
with AR+.
